Who we help

Buying a house

Closing in the next few weeks. Every utility, the internet, and a security system if you want one, done before the keys.

Renting

Apartment or house, same call. Most landlords put utilities in your name; we tell you which ones and how.

Relocating for work

New to Indianapolis. We know which company serves which street so you don't have to learn it the hard way.

Building new

New construction has its own wrinkles, like co-op memberships and first-time meter sets. We've handled them.

How it works

Three steps, one call.

1

Book a 12-minute call

Pick a time online or call us. Have your new address and closing date handy. That's all we need.

2

We look up your address

Before we dial, we've already found your electric, gas, water, sewer and trash providers and checked which internet is actually available at the house.

3

You pick, we set it up

Internet gets ordered on the call. Your utility sheet lands in your inbox within 15 minutes, with what each company will ask you for. Want a security system? We schedule the install.

What we'll ask you for

Everything we need fits in one text message. The utility companies will ask you for more; we tell you exactly what, so nothing surprises you on the phone.

What we need
  • Your name, phone and email
  • The new address
  • Your closing or move-in date
  • Who referred you, if anyone
What the utility companies usually ask you for
  • Social Security number and date of birth (identity check)
  • Start date
  • Sometimes a deposit if they run a credit check

Questions

Or just call:

Who is InstantOn Concierge?
A local Indianapolis service that sets up utilities, internet and home security for people moving into a new home. One call covers all of it. It's free to you; the providers pay us.
How is it free?
The internet, TV and security companies pay us when you sign up through us. Some pay more than others. You pick whichever one you want, and we'll tell you if the cheaper option is the better one. The utility companies pay us nothing. We do that part because it's what a new homeowner actually needs.
Are you trying to sell me something?
On the call we'll show you your internet options and ask whether you want a security system. Both are your choice. You can say no to either and still get your utility sheet.
Do you protect my information?
We share your information only with the companies you choose to sign up with. We do not sell it. Utility companies ask for a Social Security number to start service; we tell you that in advance and you give it to them directly, never to us.
When should I book?
Ten days before closing is ideal. Internet installers book out, and a few utility companies need a couple of business days. Closing tomorrow? Book anyway. We'll do what can be done today.
What if my closing date changes?
Call or text us and we'll move the internet install and update your sheet. It happens all the time.
Which areas do you cover?
Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, Boone, Hancock, Morgan and Shelby counties. If you're just outside that, ask; we can usually help.
What are your hours?
. Evening and Saturday calls are available because that's when people move.
Do you actually turn my utilities on?
Utility companies require the account holder to start service. We do the part that takes hours: we find the right company for your address, put the phone number, hours and exact steps on one sheet, and tell you what they'll ask for. Then it's one short call each. If you'd like, we'll dial the company with you and stay on the line.

Closing soon? Book the call now and it's handled before move-in day.

Ten days before closing is ideal. Tomorrow works too.
